Year 2011: New Zodiac dates and signs?

Welcome the new addition to the zodiac sign: Ophiuchus. News from all over the world is now on this hype – the standard zodiac calendar is out of date.

Astronomer Parke Kunkle told NBC News that the Earth’s changing of alignment for the last 3,000 years has prompted new consideration of the sign Ophiuchus for inclusion into the zodiac sign.

While the sign many people were born under may now be different, this would not affect their horoscope readings, according to NBC.

A popular online astrologer even said that this new zodiac calendar is still debatable and just an attempt to get an attention from around the globe.

If the new zodiac calendar will be put into practice, this will be the changes:

Capricorn January 20 – February 16
Aquarius February 16 – March 11
Pisces March 11 – April 18
Aries April 18 – May 13
Taurus May 13 – June 21
Gemini June 21 – July 20
Cancer July 20 – Aug. 10
Leo August 10 – September 16
Virgo September 16 – October 30
Libra October 30 – November 23
Scorpio November 23 – November 29
Ophiuchus: November 29 – December 17
Sagittarius: December 17 – January 20

Are you amenable about this change? Will it affect your daily life? Comments are welcome.
