How to install GyachI (Yahoo Messenger alternative) on Linux

GyachE Improved (GyachI) is a Yahoo! Messenger client alternative for Linux OS. It has features like that of the original Y! Messenger such as voice chat, webcam, avatars and nicknames.

Installing GyachI on Linux

The desktop/web version of installation is a bit complicated, so I’ll just write about the terminal-based approach instead.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:adilson/experimental
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gyachi

You can then check it out on the “Internet” category of your menu (Ubuntu Linux).
