How to build a multi-user Linux system

One PC, multiple users at the same time? Quite possible, on Linux Operating System.

After walking down the memory lane, I remembered that Linux was really capable of going multi-user. I was not sure if I have seen this on sci-fi movies or from a digest. So I run some search and I actually found a draft on this multi-user configuration, one was based on Mandriva, the other Ubuntu.
